Join us for a joyful and inclusive celebration at the Wolverhampton Pride Family Picnic! This relaxed, welcoming event is the perfect way to connect with LGBTQ+ families, local community groups, and support services. Come along, bring a picnic, and celebrate Pride in the park with laughter, colour, and community!
All-Day Activities:
- Colouring-in station and competition (Adoption at Heart)
- Garden games (Children's Services/ Family Hubs)
- Fun competitions
- Amazing face painting by our talented artist (LGBTQ+ Stay and Play)
- Badge making – create your own pronoun or flag badge to wear with pride! (X2Y)
Event Highlights:
- 11:00 AM – Opening Speeches
Start the day with a warm welcome and inspiring words from our speakers. - 11:15 AM – Wolves Children’s Football Session
Let the little ones burn off some energy with fun football activities led by the Wolves! - 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Kid Zones Party Activities
Enjoy a wide variety of exciting games and entertainment with the fantastic Kid Zones team. - 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Rounders (Ages 12+)
Join X2Y for a friendly and inclusive rounders session — a great way for young people to get active and have fun! - 2:00 PM – Foxy’s Story Time (for younger children, 45 mins)
Little ones can settle in for a magical and inclusive story session with Foxy and The Dempsey Diaries, full of imagination, warmth and inclusivity.
